INTRODUCTION
Servicing Ocean Shores, Byron Bay, Lismore and Ballina, Colleen Reilly & Greg Litchfield Optometrists Mullumbimby provide eye care services for the whole family. We're proudly independent, giving us the freedom to focus on eye health services that suit our unique location. In addition to providing a full range of optometry services, we also have a special interest in Ocular Coherence Tomography.

RETINAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Where appropriate, your optometrist may recommend retinal photography in addition to your eye test. This involves us photographing the details of the retina and back of the eye, allowing for the assessment of blood vessels, the optic nerve and the macula. We then keep a record of the results and can check for any changes during subsequent eye tests.
VISUAL FIELDS TESTING
A visual field test can help to uncover blind spots or abnormalities with your peripheral vision. At Colleen Reilly & Greg Litchfield Optometrists Mullumbimby, we perform visual field testing to assess your full range of vertical and horizontal vision. Changes to your field of vision may require further testing to diagnose the issue.

OCULAR COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY
To produce highly detailed images of the retina and to help detect early signs of macular degeneration, glaucoma or detached retinas, we conduct Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) scans. These scans take only a few moments and are non-invasive, using reflected light to produce a high resolution image for review. These scans are normally done by an ophthalmologist. Due to our remote location, Colleen Reilly can perform OCT scans for patients across Mullumbimby, Ocean Shores, Lismore, Ballina and Byron.

GLAUCOMA TESTING
If you have a family history of glaucoma, we recommend you undergo screening every 2 years. To test for and diagnose glaucoma, we may conduct one of several tests, including tonometry, pupil dilation and visual field testing.

Our trained staff are here to help with all aspects of your family's eye care. We are committed to helping you make the best choices for your eye health needs, as well as assisting with frame selection for single vision or multifocal lenses. Our optical team can find eyewear that suits your budget, feels comfortable and looks stylish.
ONSITE FACILITIES
At Colleen Reilly & Greg Litchfield Optometrists Mullumbimby, we provide onsite repairs and adjustments to all frame types. We have a fully operational workshop on the premises, providing quick turn around for new and replacement spectacles.
CONTACT LENSES
Whether you regularly wear contact lenses or wish to try them for the first time, our optometrists can help you. We supply disposable soft lenses for shortsightedness, longsightedness and astigmatism. Our range of disposable lenses are available in daily, fortnightly or monthly replacement.
Our Mullumbimby optometrists are happy to answer any questions you might have about contact lenses. We can also teach you how to fit them comfortably.
About Us
Colleen and Greg have over 25 years experience providing optometry services throughout the Northern Rivers. Included are comprehensive eye health assessments for adults and children, refractions, contact lens fitting, glaucoma and macular checks as well as diabetic retinopathy.
